I have worked with GroupWise for many years.
When I was an administrator for a 4-site GroupWise system I wanted a way to safely delegate "Admin Lite" GroupWise and non-GroupWise tasks to other people. Cimitra creates this unified panel for safely delegating IT tasks.
The Cimitra GroupWise Integration Scripts are designed to allow you to delegate common GroupWise tasks within Cimitra.
We’ve created over 60 easy-to-use GroupWise specific Apps. The powerful GroupWise Administration REST API combined with Cimitra allows you to do things that aren’t even available in GroupWise Administration. Such as rebuilding a user’s QuickFinder indexes, or moving a Nickname to a different user.
With Cimitra you determine which features you want to safely delegate. The GroupWise Admin Helpdesk Scripts by Cimitra even have an “Exclude Group” feature that allows you to safely protect users such as yourself, that no one else should be able to administer.
Cimitra also allows you to Audit every time a Cimitra App is run and what the outcome of the event was. Auditing does require a license purchase.
Cimitra also includes security measures such as LDAP & Multi-Factor Authentication, and input validation so that keyboard inputs comply with established norms.

Cimitra is much more than an “Admin Lite” solution for GroupWise. Many of your systems have commands, APIs and scripts that can be easily integrated into Cimitra as a “Cimitra App”. As you well know, most of the systems you administer do not nave an easy way to get others to participate
